When choosing the right kind of aerial lifts for your establishment there are quite a few important factors that need to be looked into. Since these types of lift operate mechanically and provide you with the kind of height you require to access objects so you need to be sure that you are buying from a reliable manufacturer.
Typically there are two kinds of aerial lifts. The first one is called slab lifts which can be used indoors and are seen to best work on smooth surfaces. The second type is call a rough terrain lift and is well suited for uneven ground. While the former runs on electric power and has rubber tires that does not leave a mark on the floor the latter one works on gas and/or diesel and the inflated tires help offer a firm grip.

Safety comes first
 
As you would know that lifts carry people and expensive equipment this is why it is essential to have safety features installed along with safety measures to protect you or your workers from any injury or damage. While buying a lift do try to see if the lift has the following safety features installed:

- Level indicators or warning lamps to ensure that the base is proper and the lift can be placed on top of it
- Measures to keep track of high speed and to slow down the lift as and when necessary
- Proper straps and protective rods
- A manual descent valve so that the lift can be lowered in case of power outage
- A proper LCD display that can offer information and diagnostics for safe operations
Whenever you do go out looking for aerial lifts, try to take references from others or look for reviews online. Always assess your requirements and then make a decision on the kind of lift you would want to go for.
